Dr. Suman Majumder is a senior research and management professional with more than 20 years of experience in various industry sectors including pharmaceuticals, Polymer, FMCG (Food, Personal Care, Laundry, Hygiene), Packaging, and Agro-chemical. He has hands-on experience in setting up and managing research operations, product-based research and analytic functions and contributing strategically to the overall business / institutional growth.
Over the years, he has completed multiple patentable innovations, applied for 18 patents (16 industrial & 2 individuals) for different kinds of products & technologies. He has led multiple teams and projects with experienced scientists, implemented new technologies, and worked on a global scale with research and manufacturing counterparts across the globe. Other key areas of expertise include an aptitude for linking innovation to business, internal/external stakeholder management, and managing large-scale operations. He has contributed to the overall performance of the product portfolio by introducing ground-breaking formulations and innovating patentable products and processes. He has the acumen to create team synergy between management, functional resources, and research scientists. He has prepared and presented reports on possible business and marketing strategies around innovations and enhancements to assist senior leaders in informed decision-making. He has been an active member of the strategy leadership teams in my last few organizations including Sigma-Aldrich, Unilever, L’Oréal, Avery Dennison, and Bajaj Consumer Care. He held a Post-Doctoral Fellowship with Late Professor Alan Katritzky at the University of Florida and a Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta, from Center for Advanced Studies under the Directorship of Late Professor Asima Chatterjee.

Strong higher education professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused on International Security from Aberystwyth University, UK, a Marie Curie Fellowship from the European University Institute Florence, Italy, and significant work experience with the European Union.
Prof. Dr. Christian Kaunert is Chair of Policing and Security, as well as Director of the International Centre for Policing and Security at the University of South Wales. He is also the Leader of the Cognate Research Group on Policing and Security at the University of South Wales. Previously, he served as an Academic Director and Professor at the Institute for European Studies, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, a Professor of International Politics, Head of Discipline in Politics, and the Director of the European Institute for Security and Justice, a Jean Monnet Centre for Excellence, at the University of Dundee
